Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, this role marks the start of our expansion into the wider Nordic region. You’ll be working from Nord DDB’s Copenhagen office, home to a vibrant team of 25 talented professionals. Here you’ll collaborate daily with our team of creatives and strategists in Sweden, and also with the Nord DDB team on site, ensuring you’ll be part of a dynamic environment to shape the future of digital marketing in the Nordics.

The role

As Managing Director, you’ll combine strategic leadership, business development, and hands-on expertise to establish and grow Digital Fans in Copenhagen. You’ll take charge of building the business, cultivating client relationships, and contributing directly to delivering high-quality digital marketing solutions.

What you’ll do

• Build and Scale: Lead the charge in establishing Digital Fans’ Copenhagen operations, laying the foundation for success.
• Lead Business Development: Identify new opportunities, pitch to potential clients, and secure long-term partnerships to drive growth.
• Deliver Results: Get hands-on with client work, contributing to campaign strategy, growth marketing execution, and project oversight.
• Manage Operations: Oversee the daily running of the Copenhagen office, ensuring alignment with Stockholm HQ and Nord DDB.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a small, high-performing team as the business grows.
• Collaborate with Nord DDB: Leverage Nord DDB’s resources and creative network to amplify results for clients and strengthen our market presence.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in agency leadership, business development, or a similar role in the digital marketing industry.
• Hands-on expertise in growth marketing, including performance marketing, automation, and data-driven strategies.
• A strategic mindset paired with the ability to roll up your sleeves and contribute directly to client work when needed.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to manage and grow client accounts.
• Strong operational acumen and experience building scalable workflows and processes.
• A visionary leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for creativity and innovation.
